Skin Booster is usually done for the face and neck. However hands and décolletage can benefit from it as well.
Skin Booster treatment is performed by multiple microinjection of the products into our skin. It can be done by either manual hand injection or by injector gun (水光枪). Prior topical numbing cream is applied for 20 min before the treatment starts. Treatment duration is around 15 minutes.
Skin Booster needs to be performed once every 3-4 weeks for total of 3-4 sessions to get the best result. Subsequent treatments are performed every 6 months as maintenance
The result can last between 9-12 months.
Practically anyone is a candidate for Skin Booster treatment since everyone needs improved skin hydration and collagen stimulation. However it is particularly useful for patients with dry, dull looking and aging skin. Patient with superficial depressed acne scar will see improvement as well.
Injection-related side effects such as redness, swelling, needle marks, skin bumpiness are common and will subside within 24 hours. Bruising may sometimes occur as well and ice packs can resolve it in a short time.
