Korean Glass Skin Laser is a unique yellow laser treatment that provides you with a glowing and radiant complexion for a no-foundation look!
It also helps to reduce pigmentation, redness, acne inflammation, visible facial veins and uneven skin tone.
Korean Glass Skin Laser is a laser treatment for various skin concerns. It is an improved version of the commonly used Dual Yellow/Combination laser which is a mixture of 532nm, green light and 577nm, pure yellow light.
As Korean Glass Skin Laser is at a special wavelength of 577nm, conditions like pigmentations or redness are rooted in a deeper vascular network of veins. The Laser is able to penetrate deeper into tissue, unlike traditional green light, the and address both pigmented lesions and underlying vessels while prolonging results.
Due to it’s special wavelength of 577nm, it is able to produce 40% higher absorption in blood which means that lesser power is required during treatment.
Korean Glass Skin Laser is ultimately a safe procedure as the laser does not injure the outermost layer of the skin. Some may notice mild redness and swelling which will subside within hours after treatment.
Our Korean Glass Skin Laser treatment here at V Medical Aesthetics involves initially lasering the whole face with two to three passes to destroy Propionibacterium acne bacteria and shrink sebaceous glands to minimise sebum production.
Then, your doctor will adjust several settings to focus on red blemishes and active acne. You might feel small pinpricks/ant bites may occur at this stage of the procedure.
The yellow light also stimulates collagen development and lowers the size of tiny red blood vessels. This has a firming, tightening, and revitalising impact on the skin.
Your face will be cleansed and safety goggles will be provided to protect your eyes.
If you have had laser previously, you will find the session fairly tolerable, with the light pulses feeling like a mild flickering feeling on your skin and some warm sensation.
There will be some redness on the face, but it will normally fade within a few hours. You could resume your normal habits immediately. Most patients find that a modest layer of foundation helps conceal any remaining redness.
As with other laser treatments, you must keep protecting your skin against UV or sunlight. It’s to achieve the optimum outcomes, as the skin gets more susceptible to UV rays following the treatment. You’ll see a continuous improvement in the treated region over the next several weeks, with less pigmentation, an even skin tone, skin regeneration with reduced wrinkles, and a smoother skin appearance.
Korean Glass Skin Laser has a high rate of absorption in the red blood cells, it helps reduce facial veins or blood vessels in areas like nose and cheeks.
Reduces red marks due to an increased blood circulation, by reducing the blood vessels in the area. This reduces redness and gives skin an even complexion.
During the treatment of blood vessels, pure yellow 577nm laser gives the best absorption for skin rejuvenation. Unlike the usual green 532nm wavelength, the yellow wavelength could yield 40% more blood absorption. This equates to reduced power needed during the session, which gives numerous important benefits, including:
Most skin issues, redness (blood vessels), or discoloration are anchored in a deeper vascular vein network that extend further than the depth of treatment with typical green (532nm) lasers. Failure to address these problems may lead to recurrence and the difficulty to address deeper vascular and pigmented concerns successfully.
The Korean Glass Skin Laser permeates deeper compared to normal green lasers, targeting underlying vessels at the same time. This enables the safe treatment of a broader range of skin conditions.
