Dr Gerard Lim brings a distinctive blend of pharmacy and medical experience to his aesthetic practice. He began his healthcare career as a pharmacist, where he developed a strong grounding in pharmacology, medication safety and patient counselling, before earning his Doctor of Medicine from Duke-NUS Medical School.

His clinical experience spans internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine, intensive care, anaesthesia, primary care and community hospital care. This breadth of experience informs his practice of aesthetic medicine, with an emphasis on procedural precision, patient safety and careful assessment of individual needs. His background in family and community medicine also allows him to take each patient’s overall health and wellbeing into consideration. He holds Certificates of Competence in aesthetic procedures, is certified in Primary Care Dermatology, and is currently pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.

Dr Gerard takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, provides honest and balanced advice, and considers facial proportions and harmony when developing personalised treatment plans. A recipient of the Alexandra Hospital Healing Hands Award, he is committed to putting patients first and achieving natural-looking results that complement each individual’s features.

Outside the clinic, Dr Gerard enjoys travelling and exploring new places. He stays active through gym training, spin classes and pilates, and is always up for an adventure or a fresh challenge.
