A. Applicability of this Privacy Notice

1. personal identification and contact information such as your full name, email address, phone numbers, identification document or number (such as your I/C number), address, height, weight, gender, date of birth, nationality, race, marital status, occupation, photos and video images;
2. medical information such as your treatment history, personal health information, medical record, diagnosis;
3. information in audio or video format such as recordings made via closed-circuit television (“CCTV”) or security recordings;
4. information obtained from cookies and other technologies such as information from public databases or data aggregators that may include your demographic information, media consumption, previous purchases, shopping habits, loyalty program information or lifestyle preferences;
5. job application information such as personal data contained on your resume or job application, previous employment history and academic results; and
6. any other personal data you provide to us or collected by us in the course of our business relationship with you.

Please note that, when you provide personal data of third parties (such as next of kin information), you warrant that you have obtained their consent for you to provide their personal data to us.

We may collect and receive your personal data in a variety of ways, for instance:

1. directly from you, when you choose to give it to us such as when you use our Services, when you send us completed enquiry, application or registration forms, when you take part in any activities or events organized by us, when you communicate with us by email, chat, telephone or any other means, or when you access our websites; and
2. indirectly, when we obtain information from third parties such as identity verification services, credit reporting agencies, regulatory and enforcement agencies, public databases or sources, management corporations, third party service providers and other third parties that are connected to you (e.g., other customers that are related to you), and from such other sources to which you have given your consent to disclose your personal data.

C. How We Use Your Personal Data

We will process your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, its applicable regulations, guidelines and/or orders, taking into account the latest amendments to the foregoing, this Privacy Notice and any privacy terms contained in your agreement(s) or terms with us.

We may ‘process’ your personal data by collecting, recording, holding, storing, using and/or disclosing it from the following purposes:

1. to assess, manage, maintain and process customer accounts with V Aesthetics;
2. to manage our relationship with customers and to communicate with the customers, whether as our new, existing former or prospective customers;
3. to provide or supply customers with products or services;
4. to issue statements and invoices to customers;
5. to provide customers with information, notices, updates or to contact customers when necessary;
6. to comply with any law, court order or other legal requirement;
7. to respond to any inquiries, requests or questions raised by customers;
8. to carry out marketing and promotional activities including posts and publications on our social media;
9. to improve V Aesthetic’s customer service;
10. for any other purposes that are incidental or ancillary to or in furtherance to the above purposes; and
11. to process, manage and review job applications and manage the entire application and interview process for potential employees and applicants.

(Collectively referred to as “Purposes”).

Providing your personal data is generally voluntary. However, certain information may be necessary for us to provide services, process transactions, or comply with legal obligations. If you choose not to provide required personal data, we may be unable to offer you certain products or services, or respond to your requests effectively.

D. Disclosure of Your Personal Data

1. third party vendors, service providers, consultant, contractors, agents, auditors, legal advisors and/ or representatives engaged by us that require such information as is reasonably necessary for the primary purpose for which it was collected;
2. governmental, legal and/or regulatory authorities in order to comply with legal or regulatory requirements;
3. our parent company and related companies for operational and administrative purposes;
4. such other classes of third parties whom you have given their consent for the disclosure within the registration form or other such forms.

Additionally, your personal data may be transferred outside of Singapore to the class of third parties listed above for the purposes as stated in this Personal Data Protection Notice. In the event that there is a need for us to transfer your personal data to another country, we will take appropriate steps to ascertain whether, and ensure that, the recipient of the personal data is legally obliged to protect the personal data to a standard comparable to that under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

E. Cookies

Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and enhance your browsing experience when you visit our website. These steps take into account the sensitivity of the Information we collect, process and store, and the current state of technology.

While we implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, please note that transmission of data over the Internet is inherently insecure. Although we strive to safeguard your information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to or from us online.

In the event any data breach occurs, we will assess the data breach and notify the affected individuals and/or the relevant authorities if required under applicable data protection laws.

G. Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain your personal data, in compliance with this Privacy Notice for the duration of your relationship with us, and afterwards for such period as may be necessary for our business purposes, to protect our interests and that of our customers, as required by law and as per the PDPA permits.
