There is no one “best” age to start getting dermal fillers. Some people begin to see signs of ageing, such as wrinkles and fine lines, as early as 25 to around the age of 40 and above. At this point, many people choose to start getting dermal fillers to help minimise these signs of ageing.
The whole session takes around 30 minutes. Result is immediately visible and expect optimal result in 2 weeks time when the hyaluronic acid Dermal Filler draws in water. Result can last from 1 to 2 years depending on the Dermal Filler product being used and metabolism rate of each individual. Regular top up injection can be done to maintain the desirable appearance.
Common injection related side effects such as minor discomfort, redness, swelling may occur and usually resolved in few days time. Discomfort is minimal due to prior topical numbing cream application and the content of lidocaine inside the Dermal Filler.
You can resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. Minor makeup is allowed as well. Please avoid massaging the area treated for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Cold compress may reduce swelling or bruising due to the injection.
